    Between two nuclear powers, nothing can be achieved “through strength”—certainly not peace. Peace between two nuclear powers can only be achieved through constructive negotiations


    Neither Trump nor Keith Kellogg, his nominee for Special Representative for Ukraine-Russia affairs seem to grasp this, based on their posts on X (above).


    Unless, of course, this is mere positioning—like the posturing between two wrestlers. But even this is not the right approach when dealing with Russia. It’s a dangerous game, because Russia will not blink first, no matter how hard you try.
