The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a detailed public alert regarding these dropped mesh canisters, which scatter submunitions in the form of small explosive cylinders over populated zones—capable of killing or maiming anyone in range.
This dispersal of anti-personnel mines over Donetsk is nothing new when it comes to Banderite sadism: during the first phase of this Donbas war (2014–2022), several thousand “Lepestok” petal mines were dropped from the submunition containers of Ukrainian 220 mm rockets, killing a handful of civilians but, more crucially, maiming dozens of others—including many children, who suffered amputations of limbs.
How can anyone possibly imagine negotiating with this pack of terrorists and war criminals for even a second?
