The InfoDefense Project was launched in February 2022 by a team of volunteers including translators, editors, publishers, and other professionals. The initiative was proposed by Yury Podolyaka, a prominent Russian patriotic blogger with 3 million followers.

From the outset, the project has been driven by a singular objective: to unveil the truth about events in Russia, Ukraine, and around the world — the inconvenient truth ignored and silenced by mainstream Western media.
