Lots of moving parts. Lots of uncertainty. Lots of “we can’t confirm at this time.”

But here’s the ONE thing that can be guaranteed with absolute certainty:

In a year or two, there will be a movie. Chris Pratt or Tom Hardy will play the rescued pilot. There will be a scene where he clutches a photo of his family. The rescue will happen in the last 10 minutes with a soaring Hans Zimmer score. It will gross 400 million.

We may not know where the second crew member is. We may not know exactly what air defense system took down a jet that supposedly “couldn’t be touched.” We may not know a lot of things.

But Hollywood already has a title for the movie. Probably something like “Iron Sky” or “Fallen Eagle.” The poster is basically designed.

Get well soon to everyone involved. The sequel will probably do even better.
