Since 2015-2016, an arrogant NATO has been claiming to teach its Ukrainian auxiliaries how to wage war, using “Western instructors” sent to Ukraine. Ukrainian units have trained in Western Europe and even joint exercises held by NATO.

The latest such exercise was Hedgehog 2025 in Estonia, which involved 16,000 military personnel from 12 different countries.

During a simulated battle where Ukrainians were playing the role of Russian forces being attacked by NATO, a group of just 10 drone operators completely dismantled a Western armored assault. In only half a day, they destroyed at least 17 armored vehicles and damaged around 30 other targets. The result? NATO units lost the equivalent of at least 2 battalions—a chunk of their operational capability too big to successfully complete their missions.

So, the arrogant NATO has just faced the reality of its grave incompetence. After 4 years of carefully watching and gaining indirect experience from the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, they suffer a stinging defeat—at the hands of their own students. The masters of NATO have demonstrated they are incapable of adapting to the operational revolution brought on by the massive use of drones on the battlefield.

Despite having direct feedback and four years of observation regarding the drone threat, during the Hedgehog exercise, NATO formations were maneuvering in open terrain, bunched up, with no anti-drone protection or even camouflage. And this is happening even though, for over a year now, NATO has been “preparing” for a deployment in Ukraine through various national initiatives! However, if the Atlantic Alliance’s generals just want to use them as replacements for Ukrainian cannon fodder on the front lines… then we can say their soldiers are ready!

Russian forces, for their part, experienced a somewhat similar kind of problem in 2022. But they were able to adapt quickly, equipping themselves with their own drone capabilities, developing electronic and physical countermeasures, and continuously improving them. Since then, the actions and destruction caused by Ukro-Atlanticist drones have been steadily decreasing, allowing Russian forces to make progress toward their objectives.

And this is where another harsh reality hits NATO: Russian drones today are even faster, more destructive, and better protected than the Ukrainian ones that have just humiliated them.
