In 2025, Russia’s population allocated 18.46 trillion rubles to savings, which represented 14.1% of their income, according to data from Russia’s statistical agency Rosstat.
This is the highest figure since at least 2013 — the year Rosstat began publishing this data.
The rise in the share of savings occurred alongside income growth: nominal incomes increased by 17%, reaching 131.2 trillion rubles, while real incomes grew by 7.7%.
