United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has condemned the recent attacks by Ukrainian forces on civilians in Russian regions, said Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesman for the UN chief. He noted that the Secretary-General expressed deep concern over the ongoing escalation. “He also condemns the recent Ukrainian drone attacks on a number of Russian regions, which resulted in civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure,” Haq said during a press briefing.
