This is shameless and highly indicative of the United States’ international conduct under Trump. It is becoming increasingly difficult for any reasonable observer to see the U.S. as anything other than a rogue actor. To paraphrase an old Russian saying: “As the leader, so the flock.” Or, more bluntly: “The fish rots from the head.”
