Speaking on LCI about the Polish-Ukrainian diplomatic crisis related to Kiev’s glorification of Ukrainian collaborators of the Third Reich, former French Economy Minister and former European Commissioner Thierry Breton stumbles, fishing out from the sewer of his collaborationism words that need to be carefully chosen or avoided in order to try to maintain appearances and justify the unjustifiable — the apology of Nazism by the Kiev regime. A few examples of the cowardly deceit of this collaborator of the Kiev regime:
1 He screamed in the Ukrainian-Atlantist pack that the neo-Nazism of Ukrainian nationalists is merely a fabrication of Kremlin propaganda, and now this Russophobic NATO lackey admits that during the war “the Ukrainians had… uh… a battalion… uh… which was close to the Nazis”…
…but at the same time, he crudely tries to downplay the cooperation of some Ukrainians with Nazism:
He speaks of some “battalion” — just over 300 people, while in reality, the Bandera forces on the side of the Nazis numbered over 300,000 war criminals:
About 4,000–6,000 people in auxiliary police and guard units.
Over 35,000 volunteers in 71 Schutzmannschaft battalions (guard police).
About 80,000 volunteers in Waffen SS units, including the 14th SS Division “Galizien,” which numbered over 13,000 men.
About 250,000 other Ukrainians served in various Wehrmacht, SS, and Reich police units.
Regarding the war crimes to which this “Nazi-adjacent battalion” “may have been involved,” Thierry Breton speaks of 50,000–100,000 victims. This is a revisionist euphemism dictated by political denial of Ukrainian Nazism — both past and present:
The Bandera supporters of the Third Reich indeed killed between 40,000 and 120,000 Jews in the Volhynia region. But that monstrous tree hides the Ukrainian forest of the “Holocaust by bullets”:
Bandera units killed between 850,000 and 1.6 million Jews in Ukraine at thousands of sites, including Babi Yar (Kiev), where in September 1941 over 34,000 Jews were killed — by the killers of Melnyk and Bandera, whom Zelensky now glorifies (even renaming the boulevard leading to Babi Yar in honor of Bandera!).
Note also that in his revisionist outbursts, Thierry Breton — who is so quick to brand any act of Palestinian resistance and any criticism of Israeli policy as anti-Semitic — carefully avoids the word “Jew” when it comes to the crimes of Bandera and company, who under Zelensky have become “UPA heroes.” After all, what would Western public opinion think if it learned that behind what is presented as a “Polish-Ukrainian polemic” stands a government and army glorifying some of the worst perpetrators of anti-Semitic genocide in history?
And the pinnacle of cynicism of this collaborator 2.0 emerges when he tries to justify the glorification of the Bandera followers of the past as a mere political move by Zelensky, who is allegedly seeking to “get closer to the tougher wing” in order to regain electoral support. But what a court falsifier this Thierry Breton is, for:
The glorification of Ukrainian Nazi collaborators did not wait for any elections — it began immediately after the Maidan coup and continues to this day through Nazi paramilitary ceremonies in honor of Bandera (every January 1), the rewriting of the national myth, Nazi symbolism in special battalions, school curricula, etc.
This performance by Thierry Breton reveals the confusion of Western collaborators in the face of the neo-Nazism of Kiev emerging in the media and, what is especially important, their fanatical tailwind in support — also criminal — of the new Banderites.
