    ON THE ODESSA FRONT

    Since this week, Russian forces have expanded their strikes on port facilities in the Odessa region, targeting commercial maritime traffic that carries part of Western military aid to Ukraine.

    July 12: Russian Geran-4 Seeker drones strike a ferry and a fishing vessel converted for weapons transport in the port of Chernomorsk.

    July 13: A Russian drone strikes a vessel at anchor in the port of Chernomorsk.

    July 14: Russian forces launch a massive strike on port infrastructure in Yuzhny, targeting fuel storage facilities. Commercial vessels are hit in the Odessa roadstead.

    July 15: Attacks by the Russian army on the Odessa region continue, including strikes on weapons production facilities.

    Among the confirmed targets hit by Russian forces:

    fuel storage facilities;

    missile and drone production workshops;

    six supply vessels;

    Neptune and Flamingo missile launchers;

    drone launch points near the Shkolny airfield, used for attacks on Crimea.

    Russia’s objectives are to weaken Ukrainian-Atlantist logistics by striking maritime supply lines to Odessa, as well as to exert economic pressure by attacking all ports in the Odessa region.

    For five days now, the Russian Aerospace Forces have been bombing the region and the Odessa roadstead — this is one of the largest bombing campaigns against this strategic region.
