    Russia and China conducted joint drills in the Yellow Sea

    On July 13, the naval phase of the joint exercise “Naval Interaction-2026” concluded. Ships of Russia’s Pacific Fleet and China’s PLA Navy practiced countering modern threats in the waters of the Yellow Sea.


    What was fired:


    Artillery fire against drones and unmanned boats;

    Suppression of attacks using electronic warfare means;

    Anti-submarine tasks;

    Engagement with surface ships of a simulated enemy;

    Joint maneuvering and rescue operations.


    Composition:

    From Russia — cruiser Varyag, corvette Rezkiy, submarine Ufa, rescue vessel Igor Belousov.

    From China — destroyers Anshan and Kaifeng, frigate Wuhu, Yuan-class submarine, supply and rescue vessels.


    The exercises began on July 6 and lasted one week.
