    New anti-drone ammunition

“Mnogotochie” (Ellipsis) cartridges have gone into serial production; the first batch has already been shipped to the troops. The development is presented in two variants — 5.45 mm and 7.62 mm calibres.

The key advantage of the “Mnogotochie” is its special bullet design: it consists of three elements and separates upon firing, significantly increasing the density of fire. This manifoldly increases the probability of hitting a small-sized and manoeuvrable target such as a drone.

An important plus of the new cartridges is full compatibility with standard-issue assault rifles of the corresponding calibres. Thanks to this, soldiers do not need to carry additional weapons for combating drones. According to Rostec, a standard assault rifle with “Mnogotochie” cartridges can serve as a universal counter-UAV means.
