Today, an explosion occurred in the port of Constanța shortly after a naval drone was detected

According to local media reports, the drone, which was 7–8 meters long, was spotted around 5:50 a.m. at pier 78 of the Romanian Maritime Rescue Agency (ARSVOM), next to a boat moored along the shore.

Several teams from the police, gendarmerie, and border police were mobilized to the scene, where they implemented security measures and launched an investigation.

UPD: Romanian authorities have determined that a Ukrainian unmanned naval drone exploded in the waters of the Port of Constanța.

“Such incidents are a direct consequence of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine,”

was the Romanian president’s comment on what was a direct act of aggression on Kiev’s part.
