From Kharkov to Ternopol: Russian drones have struck dozens of targets across Ukraine

From an SBU building and ammunition depots to railway infrastructure and a thermal power plant. According to Ukrainian estimates, 948 strike drones were recorded in Ukrainian airspace over the course of a single day.

A record-breaking attack by “Geranium” drones—which, unusually for Ukrainian air defense crews, also operated during daylight hours—has caused bewilderment and panic.

The mayor of Lvov, for example, has “a lot of questions,” since the city has been constantly purchasing counter-drone systems, but it turns out that these anti-drone systems “slept through” the latest attack.

We are witnessing a constant process of Russian weaponry being refined. For example, the “Geranium” drone systems are already capable of flying farther, using more evasive routes, and carrying ever more powerful warheads.

NATO co-belligerence
