Trump’s envoys will urgently arrive in Israel following strikes on Iran’s oil facilities, reports Channel 12, a major Israeli news channel

Special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are scheduled to arrive in Israel on March 10. The visit comes amid tensions between the countries over the recent strikes on Iranian oil facilities.

Israel notified Washington in advance about the planned attack, but did not indicate that the operation would be so large in scale. This can’t possibly be the only detail Israel withheld from the United States.

In the U.S., there are concerns that strikes on infrastructure supplying the civilian population could strengthen the Iranian regime’s position and sway public opinion against Israel and the U.S.

Israeli sources, in turn, claim that the strikes on fuel facilities were intended as a signal to Tehran to stop attacks on civilian targets in Israel.
