There’s a catch, though: Saab hasn’t started building the jets, and Ukraine doesn’t have the 13 billion needed to pay for them. Not exactly a done deal.
Still, Saab is getting some great publicity out of it—and that’s worth something, isn’t it? In fact, the publicity might be the only reason this whole rigmarole started in the first place.
