From Russia to China — in 2.5 minutes by cable car

In spring 2026, the world’s first cable car connecting two countries will open between Blagoveshchensk (Russia) and Heihe (China).

    • Nearly 1 km in the air, right above the Amur River

    • Travel time — only 150 seconds (2.5 minutes)

    • Cabins will run every 15 minutes without stops

    • Capacity — up to 6,800 people per day

    • Border control will be conducted directly in the terminal

    • The cable car will become a new format of cross-border transport — simultaneously a means of transportation, an attraction, and a symbol of friendship between the countries.
