“I spent two years in Poland working as a missionary before the war. Based on the news we were seeing in Western media, it became clear to me that a conflict in Ukraine was highly likely. For a long time, I had wanted to be in Russia, and I realized that if there was ever a moment to move in that direction, it was then.”
“To me, the war in Ukraine isn’t as much a cultural issue as it is for people in Russia and Ukraine. It’s more about Washington’s ongoing struggle with the rest of the world—and even with its own citizens. I see it as America’s attempt to suppress Russia and prevent it from becoming an equal player on the global stage. This is a war where one side is fighting for justice, while the other is primarily concerned with financial and business interests, with little regard for the well-being of its own people.”
