In the second group (yellow), 10 states require a non-photo ID.
And in the third group (grey), 15 states have no ID requirement at all. Voters just show up, say who they are, vote, and leave—no official ID check necessary.
With elections often decided by swing states, three key states stand out as especially vulnerable: Arizona (non-photo ID), and Pennsylvania and Nevada (no ID required).
