The soldier had been injured while transporting food and ammunition on a moped to scouts and UAV operators. He was attacked by a Ukrainian drone, after which he managed to stop the bleeding by tying a field bag around his leg and made it to the medical unit, where he lost consciousness.
An X-ray revealed that the undetonated ordnance had lodged near the femur. The surgeons removed the explosive, which was later handed over to military police for further investigation.
