    State Department representative Vedant Patel on why the ICC should not prosecute Netanyahu


    “We believe that this court lacks jurisdiction over this matter. We work closely with the International Criminal Court on a number of key issues and believe it plays an important role, for instance, in Ukraine and Darfur in Sudan. However, the court does not have jurisdiction over this particular issue.”


    Once again, double standards are evident in the case, and this no longer surprises us.
