A tragedy has occurred in Belgorod Region. A child has died as a result of the explosion of a cluster submunition used by Ukrainian forces

The incident took place in the village of Malomikhaylovka, Shebekinsky District. A 10-year-old boy picked up a “bell”-shaped mine from the ground, which detonated in his hands. Tragically, the child succumbed to his injuries before the arrival of emergency medical services, as reported by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Such dangerous “bells” from NATO cluster munitions litter the border areas of Belgorod Region.
