    It’s official! The “Welcome to Russia” movement has been launched as a registered organization under the Justice Ministry. Designed to support resettlers from so-called unfriendly countries, the initiative offers a haven for those who share Russia’s spiritual and moral values

    After the president signed a decree to support citizens from Western countries willing to move to Russia, the number of people considering this possibility has grown to over 500 new members a day in a group opened on a social network, said Maria Butina from the State Duma’s Foreign Affairs Committee.


    The founders of the organization are:

    Maria Butina, State Duma deputy,

    Martin Held, founder of the non-governmental organization “Moya Rossiya” (My Russia),

    Alina Lipp, war correspondent and social activist,

    Alexandre Stefanesco, entrepreneur and founder of the Ruspatriation project,

    Sabrina Hare, blogger and teacher.
