The intermountain basin is situated between five mountain ranges. Three rivers flow through the Kansk Steppe – the Kan, Yabogan, and Kyrlyk. One and a half thousand years ago, the first center of the Turkic Khaganate, a great ancient state, was established in this area. The Kansk Steppe is a true valley of rainbows.
